As Asia’s first influential international trade fair for the tube and pipe industry held this year, Tube China successfully concluded at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on September 26, 2020, facing transformations and challenges together with the industry right after the epidemic controlled well in China.

With the care and support from the industry and professional associations, Tube China and wire China have welcomed 36,552 buyers to Shanghai, China. Meanwhile, the total exhibition area of Tube China reached 18,000 sqm to accommodate 221 exhibitors to showcase their products and technology, interacting with trade buyers face to face under the strict hygiene measures conducted by the organizers.

Exhibitors and Visitors Met Face to Face, Sparking Fresh Business Opportunities and Cooperation in Post-epidemic Period.

Due to the travel restrictions, the number of foreign participants to the exhibition fell this year, but the enthusiasm from local Chinese clients and those international enterprises who have branches and partners in China remained high.

This year, Tube China welcomed more than 190 Chinese companies to showcase a wide range of products and technical solutions, including tube manufacturing and finishing machinery, process technology tools, auxiliary process technology tools, materials, measuring & control technology, testing engineering and specialist areas, etc.

Besides to the local exhibitors, a German Pavilion continued to show presence at Hall E1. Their branch offices or agents in China presented the latest innovations and cutting-edge technologies to visitors onsite.

In addition, the participation of high-end visitor delegations was another highlight of Tube China. 49 organizers of buyers group with near one thousand people visited the exhibition, bringing clear purchase intention to exhibitors.

THERMPROCESS China and Saw EXPO China Debuted Successfully at Tube China.

With the support from Messe Düsseldorf, the two brand-new pavilions - THERMPROCESS China and Saw EXPO China were firstly launched at Tube China 2020 successfully, with positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors. More than 20 exhibitors brought their products and solutions to the fairgrounds, covering industrial furnaces, industrial heat treatment plants, thermal processes, sawing machines and processes, tools, accessories, etc. These newly introduced exhibits extended the Tube China’s product categories and connected more dots of the entire industry chain.

Mr. Li Liang, Supervisor of ZPMC China expressed: “Tube China provides an opportunity to understand the industry development trend，learn about the latest technology and equipment, and meet more industry colleagues. I have found a variety of tubes that meet my procurement requirements.”

General Manager of Tianjin Huabo Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd., Mr. Yang Wei Min said: “Tube China is held every two years and I participate almost every time. Mr. Zhang Luyao, President of Zhejiang Tsingshan Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. said: “Tsingshan steelmaking capacity is among the highest level in the world, and stainless-steel capacity is gradually increasing. Tsingshan has participated in Tube China for 8 times. Here we can not only showcase the innovative products, but also enhance our brand image.”

Mr. Jeff Ma, General Manager from HIMMELWERK China told: “Since its establishment in Germany in 1950, HIMMELWERK has been committed to the R&D and production of high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency converters, which are widely used in welding and heat treatment of steel pipes. We are very optimistic about the development potential of the Chinese market, so we chose to participate in the THERMPROCESS Pavilion newly launched at Tube China this year.”

Mr. Minkyu Kang, General Manager of Taelim Auto Parts (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. was pleased about the exhibiting result: “Taelim is a professional manufacturer of precision, forming and welding tubes. During the exhibition, many customers are interested in our products and foreign trade clients expressed their intention to sell our products abroad.”

Concurrent Events Offers In-Depth and Well-Rounded Analysis of Industrial Development.

Tube China is not only a professional one-stop business platform, but also the ideal place to learn about the latest industry trends and advanced cases. At the exhibition, the organizers cooperated with industry associations to launch professional conference.

In order to seize the new opportunities from the revolution of science and technology as well as the industry transformation, Thermprocess, Industrial Furnace & Thermal Technology Summit was held concurrently at Tube China this year. Several experts and representatives from universities and industry leading companies discussed with the audiences about tube heat treatment, technological innovation of furnace processing and industry development trend.

As a "barometer" for the tube and pipe industry in Asia, the biennial Tube China has once again provided the industry with an efficient communication platform and has won a high reputation from industry insiders in China and abroad especially at this difficult times.

The next edition of Tube China will be scheduled on September 26-29, 2022, with no change on venue. Before that, its mother show Tube Düsseldorf has confirmed the new dates from 7 to 11 December 2020 at Düsseldorf Fairgrounds. Tube Düsseldorf enjoys strong support from the industries and their professional associations during COVID-19 times. The European umbrella organizations as well as major companies of its industry clearly speak out in favor of the trade fair Tube.
