Pipe manufacturing technology may seem precise and filled with unknowns, allowing no room for error, but TUBE TRADE FAIR 2024 believes that despite its development over the past few decades, tube manufacturing still abides by the most basic physical laws.

No matter where the pipe material is to be applied or what the manufacturing process looks like, a perfect product is only related to a few factors: material, machinery, tools, and lubricants.

For tube bending tools to achieve a perfect radius, precision instruments are essential. Among these instruments, the bending link is the most crucial, and the hardness of the core shaft has a significant impact on the final result.

Hard tubes paired with hard core shafts, soft tubes paired with soft core shafts, there's a chance that the core shaft will get stuck in the pipe material, affecting subsequent processes.

Therefore, the pairing of materials is very important; use a soft core shaft when processing hard workpieces, and a hard core shaft when processing soft workpieces.

Consideration also needs to be given to the fit of the mold in pipe processing tools. TUBE TRADE FAIR 2024 learned that during production, if the mold is not fitted enough, when the pipe is rotated and bent, once the clamp holding the workpiece loosens, the radii at both ends of the bent pipe will be noticeably different. Therefore, when processing hard material pipes or bending radii above three times the pipe diameter, using a smaller-radius processing model will achieve better results for closer fitting to the workpiece.

Quality pipes also depend on precise welding. If there are issues in the welding process, and the pipe surface is not smooth enough, it can cause damage to the core shaft, pressure mold, and scraper mold.
