Under this development plan, the 10 targeted industries are divided into two segments: 1) First S-curve or five existing industrial sectors (which can be developed by adding value through advanced technologies (Next-Generation Automotive, Smart Electronics, High-Income Tourism and Medical Tourism, Efficient Agriculture and Biotechnology and Food Innovation) and 2) New S-curve or five sectors which can serve as growth engines to accelerate Thailand’s future growth (Automation and Robotics, Aerospace, Bio-Energy and Bio-chemicals, Digital and Medical and Healthcare).

Given wire and tube specialised and vast applications in these identified growth industries, wire and tube manufacturers and processors would be the industry leaders in implementing Thailand 4.0 industrial and automation systems.

wire Southeast Asia 2017 – the 12th International Wire & Cable Trade Fair for Southeast Asia and Tube Southeast Asia 2017 – the 11th International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair for Southeast Asia, will return to BITEC, Bangkok from 19 – 21 September.

Converging four synergistic key sectors of wire, cable, tube and pipe, wire and Tube Southeast Asia 2017 will present an all-encompassing showcase by over 400 leading exhibitors from 30 countries, including national and country groups from Austria, China, France, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, UK and USA. The exhibitions are also expected to welcome some 7,000 suppliers, manufacturers, processors, engineers and buyers from across the globe.
