In processing workshops, efficient energy use depends more on the immediate availability of production equipment rather than capacity utilization. Downstream processes are also crucial in the manufacturing chain. Suppose a manufacturer upgrades their laser cutting capabilities, which improves the efficiency of the cutting phase in pipe manufacturing. However, a bottleneck might still occur at the next step, such as coating, due to insufficient capacity.

 

PIPE EXHIBITION 2024 thinks that to increase output and fully utilize upstream equipment, resolving bottlenecks in the downstream production line is very important. For the coating phase, for instance, if there is equipment available that can preprocess the products, eliminating production blockages can effectively enhance manufacturing efficiency.

 

In practical production, each customer has different processing needs. Balancing the capacity of machines with customer orders is crucial; indiscriminately improving the efficiency of one part of the process is also a form of waste.
